Next Thursday we'll be participating in our school's Fun Afternoon to raise money towards the orphanage we will be visiting in October, as well as two other important organisations.

Welcome!
Welcome!
We are the group of King's Sixth formers in the photo (minus Luke) going to India in October 2016. We are all so excited to be going and we are all hopeful to make as much as difference to the orphanage as possible.
Whilst at the orphanage we are going to teach 7 lessons of our choice, for example we are planning on preparing drama, dance and physics lessons (and more!). We are also going to paint some of the rooms that the children stay in so that they are more homely and child friendly as at the moment the rooms are blank white and pretty unexciting. Our aim is to try and leave the children with something fun that can continue after we have left so we are going to chalk hop scotch onto the grounds and attempt to teach them the game; this will defo be hard considering the language barrier!!
Through this blog we will post pictures of the fundraising events that we will be doing and whilst we are away, we will keep up with the posts- mainly so our parents know we are alive.
